Press Release

Little Warriors is a national, charitable organization based in Canada, committed to the awareness, prevention and treatment of child sexual abuse. The Be Brave Ranch –a program delivered by Little Warriors, is a best practices facility, pulling together the most tested and true modalities of therapy –play therapy, yoga therapy, equine therapy, music therapy, art therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, EMDR therapy, and put them all together in one intensive environment. The program works with youth 8 -12 years old.

Recently a young local boy had the opportunity to attend the Be Brave Ranch for a one month stay. This 8 year old will be returning for 2 more weeks of therapy in the summer and he is very excited to return. Both he and his mom would love to give back to the Be Brave Ranch that depends solely on charitable donations.

“The Ranch came at a good time. Now my son is happy and wanting to play with his siblings and read books. He’s not angry, he hasn’t had any violent outbursts. There’s still issues we need to work on but the Ranch has been helpful with that too. There are a lot more good days now.” ~ Mother of 8 year old Sault Ste. Marie boy
