How can you not say they did something criminal when this man is clinging to life in ICU ???
This is a very sad situation for all involved ! .. My heart goes out to anyone with the demons of addiction ,and or .. Mental illness, depression ,, as a result of this The officers are forced to act on a call and in my opinion brutal force was involved .. Do we know everything that was involved ? No we don’t .. I just know that a lot of lives will be forever damaged and my thoughts and prayers first go to Tim and his family ! ! and second to find some reasoning as to why it reached this level of violence ! We react to the act .. so which act is worse !
Time line big deal.what about charges against the cowards who inflicted this beating? Cmon SIU do what’s right and you may be able to salvage what little respect is left in this corrupt little city. My blood boils at this cover up and protection of these Savages! ! If it was ordinary citizens you bet the charges would be many!!
Perhaps wait for results of the investigation. The photo very inflammatory. Swelling in the face was a result of being septic, not beaten perhaps? Did they break some ribs trying to control someone with a mental health issue and alcohol/drug problem? A person with these problems can have superhuman strength and not feel pain. It would investigators need to look at the action of all involved, the victim, the police, the hospital and corrections. The public should not be just police bashing and undermining the community’s confidence based on the distraught familiy’s assertions. My respect and compassion goes to the family as this time but
